oompa loompa doompadee doo..

You know what irritates me? It irritates me to see people who try to pretend they are tan. Being orange in the middle of winter is NOT natural. Being orange when you KNOW you are nowhere near that shade, when you are physically totally incapable of ever being that shade, is just RIDICULOUS. Loud fake tans are not at all sexy. No. Just no. Just say no. If you are going to tan, make it subtle. Think "glow" not "burnt." A hint of gold, not a bright shade of orange.

Just like not everyone can rock the same bright red lipstick, not everyone can rock a tan. Know what works on you. Please stop looking like oompaloompas, ladies.

GROSS.

this new layout bores me a little, but i got sick of the pink. a girl can only have so much pink. so until i find a better one, i guess this is it.

whats sad is that at 14, i had my own webpage-- one more intricate and personal? as this one. and although the design for that was boring, iiii did it. i didn't just copy a pre-made layout and paste it. iii did it. and now? i know less about html now than i did at 14. this page could have been so much prettier had i kept that up.
ahh well.

I've recently rediscovered my roots, through Philippine telenovelas and YouTube. I started watching Sana Maulit Muli after hearing that it was worth it, and wow, it is. Granted, I don't think it has anything specifically unique about it or spectacular; maybe I just missed Philippine tv. But it makes me want the kind of old-fashioned romance they show (that probably doesn't exist even in the Philippines, since American tv has seeped in, but who said anything about being realistic?). What ever happened to good, old-fashioned romance? boo.

I also started watching Grey's Anatomy. Good show. I wish I started watching earlier. One thing that convinced me to keep watching this show regularly (which I don't do for other tv shows except for those I've been watching since forever, eg, gilmore girls and antm) was last week's episode where Dr. Yang finally answers Dr. Burke's proposal. Because while I might miss old-fashioned romance, I still believe in equality and quite frankly, I'd rather be an equal partner than be someone's wife.

Watch it. and MMMM.. McSteamy. I wouldn't mind... nevermind.

Now I just have to make time to actually keep up with these shows.
